YOGA

Restorative yoga:
It is the yoga of non-doing; it is the core practice underlying the essence of yoga. Even those with an active dynamic practice will benefit greatly from the inner peace and deep release of a restorative class. It is the practice of entering into yoga postures using props. One experiences the yoga postures as profoundly relaxing and deeply rejuvenating, invoking a natural state of healing rest, renewal and equanimity.
Supported and passive yoga postures allow the body to naturally release, letting go of held tension and stress.
Yoga for Alignment:
We use props to facilitate a proper alignment in the asanas (yoga postures). We bring awareness and awaken the intelligence of the body.
In the practice, you experience the yoga postures (asanas) as profoundly strengthening and liberating; guiding you toward a state of alertness and relaxation: sattvik.
We include yoga philosophy in the teaching.
The asanas, and pranayama (breathing techniques) affect your emotional (emotional release), mental (clarify vision, empower vision), and physical state (strengthen, heal, flexibility). Yoga for Alignment is a holistic approach. You receive teachings on how to integrate yoga in your everyday life.
Advanced practitioner will benefit highly from this class, to improve the alignment in their practice and integration of Yoga. Beginners will receive a deep, holistic understanding of yoga, and appropriate alignment in the asanas to initiate their practice.
Christelle Chopard, has been practicing yoga while she was a child, without knowing yet that these “healing empowering postures” are called “yoga asanas”. She did participate to Yoga Seminars, Programs while in India, Australia, and Americas. In Miami, she has been trained by Allaine Stricklen in gentle therapeutics yoga. Also she participated to seminars of Purna Yoga with Aadil Palkhivala, Anusara Yoga with John Friend, YogaFit, Skanda Yoga, etc.
Christelle integrates breathing techniques (pranayama), proper alignment in the asanas, spiritual guidance, and a holistic approach in her teachings.
